Dell Technologies has unveiled its latest slate of products for the new decade which includes various improvements or advancements such has AI Technology and innovative design. The new offerings are poised to revamp the PC genre in pushing people to be creative and to achieve more. The firm believes that PC users are becoming increasingly meticulous about the products they use, so its only fitting to answer that need with good design and strong performance.
Dell Top of the Line Monitors – Maximized Productivity and Gaming Performance
Dell is also updating its monitor line up with exciting new models, such as the Alienware 25 (AW2521HF) 240Hz gaming monitor coming out by March of this year. We’ve already seen 240Hz products from Dell’s premium gaming portfolio in recent years, but what makes this new variant stand out is it has an IPS panel instead of TN. It also supports AMD FreeSync, but its also currently pending for Nvidia’s G-Sync compatibility certification.
FAST IPS models are slowly tricking in, offering a wider VRR range, fast response times, and excellent image quality rolled into one package. The AW2421HF also sports the space-age redesign which looks more slick, especially with its RGB lighting.
Another exciting model to be revealed by Dell at CES 2020 is the Dell 43 UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Monitor (U4320Q) which seeks to expand on the success of last year’s U3219Q. The large-format 4K monitor’s important feature is its USB-C connector which supports DP Alt Mode and is able to deliver up to 90W of power. That, along with the massive digital space provided by 4K makes the product fantastic for productivity and multitasking.
It’s also worth noting that the Dell U4320Q is the first 42.5-inch monitor to offer height adjustment for increased convenience. All these features, including the minor improvements in ergonomics, are designed to increase productivity by reducing clutter and being user-friendly. The new Dell 43 UltraSharp 4K monitor will be available worldwide on January 30, 2020, with a starting price of $1049.99.
We’re also going to see a 27-inch 4K USB-C Monitor from Dell at CES 2020 in the form of the UltraSharp 27 4K or the U2720Q. The product is aimed at creators who require accurate color and wide gamut coverage that reaches 95% of the DCI-P3 standard. The monitor also promises true color reproduction with the help of VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for striking image quality.
The Dell U2720Q also has an improved InifinityEdge display which has even thinner borders on the bottom bezel. The product is intended for multi-monitor setups as revealed by its daisy-chaining capabilities, so bezels should indeed be a thing of the past. The series also includes a smaller, 25-inch variant called the U2520Q.
Both 4K USB-C monitors will be available by the 30th of this month with a $709.99 and $479.99 price tag respectively.
Dell’s mainstream market lines such as the P series and E series monitors will also be updated to meet the demands of various consumers and businesses. The P series offers FHD to QHD monitors from 24-inch to 27-inch variants which with USB-C options included. Two examples that are already available are the Dell P2720D and the P2720DC which have are priced at $449.99 and $479.99 respectively, while the 24-inch variants (P2421D and P2421DC) will follow on February 27.
The E-series monitors, on the other hand, will become available next week, starting at $109.99 for the 19-inch variant (E1920H) all the way up to $289.99 for the 27-incher (E2720HS). the whole series offers various upgrades such as quick access keys and a remote management feature for centralization. All E-Series monitors at Dell CES 2020 will have integrated speakers and height adjustability, unlike their predecessors.
Dell Cinema Guide and Dell Mobile Connect – Seamless Integration
Dell at CES 2020 will also introduce its Dell Cinema Guide which is a one-stop-shop for streaming content via a downloadable app. The new program aims to make finding shows and movies across 200 streaming services much easier, while Dell Cinema takes care of sound and color quality.
Dell Mobile Connect, on the other hand, has been seamlessly reducing the split between PCs and smartphones when it comes to wireless transfers and mirroring. The app was previously limited to Android devices, but the firm will offer it this year for iOS users as well. Dell series products such as XPS, Inspiron, Vostro, and Alienware products will be able to directly access mobile apps directly for smooth drag-and-drop transfers and content mirroring.
Dell XPS 13 2020 – Four-Sided Infinity Edge Display
The new XPS will be showcased by Dell at CES 2020 to show off its redesign that aims at superior user experiences. The premium laptop range features the finest, yet sustainable materials, while the chassis has become smaller and thinner. The XPS product combines machined aluminum, carbon fiber, woven glass fiber, and Corning Gorilla glass for the best possible finish and durability.
One of the new Dell XPS 13’s highlights is its sleeker InifinityEdge design which further maximizes the screen size and space. The new 13-inch variant will now come in an 11-inch form factor and a larger 16:10 display for better flexibility and portability. The new XPS series offers 10th Gen Intel Core processors and longer battery life, along with either Windows 10 or Ubuntu 18.04LTS (Developer Edition).
Dell Latitude 9000 Series – AI-Powered Business Products
The new Dell Latitude 9000 series was imbued with the best details and technology for superior user experience. Products like the Dell Latitude 9510 have a larger display while being thinner and smaller, plus a class-leading 30-hour maximum battery life. All laptops are also 5G-ready for the latest in networking standards
But what stands out about the Dell Latitude 9510 is its built-in automated, AI-based optimization technology called Dell Optimizer. The software works by helping the machine learn your usage patterns to reduce issues, delays, and disappointments. Its ExpressResponse technology uses Intel’s Adaptix technology to launch and switch between applications faster, based on user preference recorded by the Ai.
ExpressCharge uses the AI’s learning capabilities to optimize battery life by reading charge and discharge patterns, while ExpressSign-in senses the user’s preference to enable faster log-in and enhance security with the help of Windows Hello and Intel’s proximity sensor function.
The Dell Latitude 9510, along with its upcoming siblings in the product line, will feature upgraded audio solutions via the addition of powerful amps and noise-canceling microphones. The Intelligent Audio solution will work to improve audio quality on both ends via complex processes to make exchanges in conference calls clearer.
