Lenovo Legion Y27qf-30 and Lenovo Legion Y72f-30 – Tale of the Tape
Lenovo Legion Y72f-30 – Check Availability
The Lenovo Legion Y27qf-30 is the top-end variant of this release with its 2560 x 1440 IPS panel. It’s a 27-inch variant with a 240Hz native refresh that can go up to 250Hz guaranteed. The Lenovo Legion Y27f-30 follows the same formula, except that it has a 1080p resolution and a 280Hz maximum overclock.
The 10-bit panels are specified to reach 125% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3, respectively, for brilliant vibrancy in games and movies. The monitors are HDR 400-compliant, but what’s important is the panel’s native 10-bit color output. That puts it toe to toe with prosumer variants that also use 10-bit panels for color reproduction.
Other specs listed for both panels are their 400 cd/m2 brightness maximums 0.5ms fast IPS response times, and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The two models also share the same I/O layouts, including DisplayPort 1.4, dual HDMI 2.2 slots, and four USB 3.2 hubs for your peripherals. The standard 3.45mm headphone jack is also available, along with 3-watt speakers.
The two Lenovo 2023 gaming monitors have a three-sided “NearEdgeless” design. The top and side borders are only 2mm thick to make the screen look bigger in person. Each model weighs only 14.1 pounds, so they are portable enough to bring you to LAN parties and gaming events.
The Lenovo Legion Y27qf-30 and Y27f-30 will become available in May this year with $599 and $399 pricetags. Let us know in the comments if you are looking forward to these attractive gaming displays, and keep checking this page for the latest updates.
