The Samsung C32HG70 utilizes a familiar aesthetic formula we have seen from previous models like the Samsung C27FG70 and the upcoming Samsung C49HG90. The cabinet uses matte black plastics all over making the product look subtle and industrial, and it if weren’t for the 1800r curve, it would be easy to mistake this product as an entry level offering.
The slim and almost unnoticeable bezels are extra thin, and the Korean tech giant did not use two staged trickery to hide the black panel borders. Most of the Samsung C32HG70’s features are found on the back; the most prominent of which is the circular hole for the stand’s upright. This area has an LED ring inside which Samsung calls the Arena Lighting, and it beats or intensifies according to the content displayed on the screen.
The included stand takes hints from the company’s newer models which use a Y-shaped base coupled with an articulated upright for maximum flexibility. The Samsung C32HG70 can adjust height, tilt, swivel, and pivot much like the best out there, but we are a bit doubtful about this design. The Samsung CFG270 series employed a similar mechanism, and according to our experience and some feedback, there was noticeable wobbling since the arm cannot hold the weight well.

We’ve seen similar claims with the mentioned competitor models even if they are not equipped with Quantum Dot, so the results in practice remain to be seen. Of course, an elevated contrast ratio for deeper blacks and superb grayscale performance is expected care of the VA panel’s capabilities.
The Samsung C32HG70 is projected to launch in all regions of the globe, but one particular bit of information we noticed on the Hungarian website is that there is a mention of HDR support. We doubt Samsung will offer this new model as a full-fledged HDR10 monitor like the C49HG90, but the wide color coverage suggests that it could provide a bit of compatibility for the highly anticipated color standard.
